Classically trained with the Royal Conservatory of Music, Nicholas is a proficient and passionate musician, treating music as a glorified hobby that sometimes pays the bills.

Nicholas has music directed community theater, played as a rehearsal pianist/accompanist for numerous performances and continually plays improvised piano for various improv troupes. Nicholas has played for such comedic troupes as: Sex T-Rex, Songbuster!, Boom Baby Boom!, The Toronto Best, Twice Upon a Time, The Kids Table, Coincidence Men and more. He is regularly featured at the $15 Beer Beer Comedy Show at The Social Capital Theatre.

Nicholas has also played background atmosphere for wedding receptions and ceremonies.

Work-Shops
Nicholas offers a unique work-shop and seminar on improvisational score and musical improv intended for High School drama classes and improv troupes.
​
Through this work-shop, students will learn improvisational song-structure, team-building exercises, when to know to sing and who's singing as well as forming an improv scene set to a musical score.
